Gingerbread House Making 12.5.08

Gingerbread House Making on Friday was a blast! Thirty-seven gingerbread house's were built and decorated! Santa also popped in for a visit for pictures by the Christmas Tree!

Oyster Roast: November 29th, 2008

This past Saturday family and friends enjoyed another Oyster Roast at the Lakehouse. Live music was performed by local popular artist Barry Overstreet! The oysters were extraordinary!!

Shag Lessons: November 8th, 2008

The Shag Lessons this past Saturday night took place in the Screened-In Porch! Dance instructors Armando and Sandro from the Fred Astaire Dance Studio came in and taught everyone the basic steps to Shag and added a surprise at the end! A total of 15 couples learned how to Tango! Members and friends enjoyed wine and cheese through out the evening! (In this picture Sandro is teaching the women the first steps of the Shag Dance!)

Pumpkin Fest: October 25th, 2008

Five hundred pumpkins were delivered to Reunion Field on Saturday! We had pumpkin rolling races and pumpkin decorating contests through out the day! All pumkin proceeds went to the Bluffton Fire Department. The fire truck was also a big hit!

Member Gathering Oyster Roast: October 24th, 2008

Fall Fest at Hampton Lake was in full swing with another popular Oyster Roast on October 24th. The Screened Porch was the hot spot where all the oyster tables were! Over 250 members and guests enjoyed this fun fall evening!

Tiger Bass 5K Race: October 18th, 2008

The rain didn't stop over 25 members and guests from participating in our Tiger Bass 5K Race! The proceeds from the race went to the Hilton Head Hospital Auxiliary Breast Cancer Awareness Fund. Check out www.hamptonlake.com for more photos from the race!

Fishing Tournament: October 4th, 2008

The first Catch and Keep Fishing Tournament took place on October 4th with over 40 members and guests! Every fish that was caught was measured and weighed. Take a look at these tournament results!
Bluegill: 75 caught (average:8 in.)
Bass: 3 caught (average:14.5 in.)
Hybrid: 2 caught (average:15.2 in.)
Carp: 1 caught (average:24 in.)

Savannah Excursion: September 27th, 2008

We had nine members and guests jump on a van and head to Savannah together! Lunch at Lady and Sons was our first stop. We then picked up a local Savannah tour guide and took a tour through the historic district! Shopping was high on the list for the rest of the evening! We headed back to Hampton Lake after this fun filled day!

Ladies Day Out: August 30th 2008

Eleven members and guests enjoyed mini spa treatments and makeovers during our first Ladies'Day Out during Labor Day weekend! The day started off with a relaxing Yoga class from a professional Fitness Central instructor. After our Yoga class, Backwater Bill’s provided a special private lunch just for our group. The mini hand paraffin's and foot mud wraps were in full swing the rest of the afternoon!

4th of July Celebration

The 4th of July at Hampton Lake was a day of patriotic celebration! Scheduled
activities included: water balloon toss, limbo contest,
hula hoops, face painting and a seed spitting contest!
Badminton, volleyball, basketball, horseshoes, and
sidewalk art were just some of the activities that friends and families enjoyed all day long! DJ Mike will was spinning the tunes all afternoon by Adventure Lagoon.
